"The Outpost Camp is a true fly fisherman’s dream come true. Short on frills but long on hours and hours of fly fishing in a remote and untouched stream."

The Camp

Expectations about amenities are important and it is important for you to know this rustic camp consists of only the wilderness essentials. You will not find the comforts of our Alaska Wilderness Safari camp or a typical Alaskan lodge. But for the hard-core fisherman, our spike camp like facilities are reminiscent of guided float trip or a very nice camping trip where you don’t have to cook or clean!

Guests stay in double-occupancy 8’ x 8’ expedition-class, dome style tents with cot, sleeping bag, flannel bag liner and pillow. The other basic but sufficient camp facilities include a dining tent where we serve hearty meals, a wader/equipment storage tent, a basic solar-style shower and a wilderness-style latrine.

Meals are basic but hearty. The standard stuff for breakfast, lunch is brown bag style served riverside, and the dinner menu contains items like campfire grilled steak, homemade tortilla soup, red beans & rice, Sonora chicken, etc. We’ll have an open but limited bar selection, so be sure and let us know what type of refreshments you enjoy ahead of time.

We accommodate small groups of 6 or less guests per week and we will do our best to keep you comfortable.
